WASHINGTON DC USA -- HEALTHCARE UPDATE NEWS SERVICE -- MAY 4, 2022: Mother's Day is this Sunday, so let's take a moment to reflect on the increasing maternal mortality rate in the United States. According to the CDC, in 2020, 861 women were identified as having died of maternal causes in the United States, compared with 754 in 2019.
We have the highest maternal mortality rate of any developed country. As part of the health care community, we must work together to improve maternal care for all women. Let's join to share experiences, ideas, solutions and more.
